Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit his mother, Heeraben Modi, at her Gandhinagar residence on June 18 to celebrate her 100th birthday.
A puja will also be held at Vadnagar’s Hatkeshwar temple on the occasion.
Earlier, on March 11, PM Modi met his mother in Ahmedabad while he was on a two-day visit to Gujarat. He had met her after a gap of two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
PM MODI GUJARAT VISIT
On June 18, PM Modi is set to address nearly 4 lakh people that will include beneficiaries of various government schemes during his Vadodara visit. The event will take place at Leprosy Hospital near Sardar Estate.
This would be PM Modi’s second visit to Gujarat in a month. During his first visit on June 10, he inaugurated 7 projects worth Rs 3,050 crore in the tribal region of Navsari and laid foundation stones for over 14 other projects aimed at improving the water supply in the region.
Preparations for PM Modi’s second visit on June 18 are in full swing.
According to an official statement, special arrangements have been made, including special domes raised with German technology at the venue. Carpeting of roads, parking facilities, lighting and ancillary facilities are also nearing completion. Medical teams will also be deployed at the venue to take care of any emergencies.
