An earthquake of 3.7 magnitude hit Arunachal Pradesh’s Kamle district on Friday, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) said.

The National Center for Seismology (NCS) tweeted, “Earthquake of Magnitude 3.7, occurred on 08-07-2022, 10:00:26 IST, Lat: 27.65 & Long: 94.25, Depth: 12 Km, Location: Kamle, Arunachal Pradesh, India.” (sic)

The earthquake took place at 10 AM and the depth of the tremor was 12 km, the NCS said.

The northeast region of the country falls in the high seismic zone.
