One person was killed and several others were injured after a major fire broke out in the Pooth Kalan area of outer Delhi on Thursday.

One person was killed while seven others were injured after a major fire broke out in a building in the Pooth Kalan area of outer Delhi on Thursday afternoon.

Eight fire tenders were pressed into action after a fire call was received at around 4 pm. The fire was doused in a few hours.

“ A total of seven people were rescued from the building and one died in the incident,” DFS director, Atul Garg, said.

The cause of the fire is yet to be known.
